Banana solves everything

The delegate of Mexico proposed the idea of lining biodegradable materials with a banana leaf to make them have similar properties to plastic, but it was quickly shot down due to regional availability. This paved the way to the decision to combine plastic with other biodegradable materials to reduce plastic consumption.
