Councils Overview

The councils are the bulk of a MUN experience. It is during council sessions that most of the discussion, proceedings and drama take place. For NASMUN 2021, there are 3 councils, each discussing a global issue their real-life counterparts are deliberating over today. 

 

• UNODC: Identity-Related Crimes

• UNEP: Plastic Pollution

• UNICEF: Child Vaccination

 

Both new and returning delegates looking for a classic MUN experience are welcome to join and partake in any one of the councils. We accept both internal and external delegates. So you may join if you’re from outside CHAMPS, or even from an institution outside of Ngee Ann Secondary School. 

 

If you join NASMUN as a delegate in a council, you will be tested on your research and public speaking skills, alongside your ability to collaborate with other delegates. Feel that you’re up for the challenge? Register as a delegate below.
