Starting off, the delegate of the People’s Republic of China (China) would like to be open to other fellow delegates in order to find a proper solution to child vaccination.

When asked about strategies to increase public awareness about vaccinations, the delegate of China said that raising public awareness by conducting public campaigns that are funded, which educates the public, especially parents, on the importance of vaccinations, and persuade parents who are not willing to let their children get vaccinated to change their mindset.

Taking sociodemographic factors into consideration, the delegate suggested that countries could use empty schools on weekends or during holidays to hold mass vaccinations. This can greatly boost the amount of vaccinations held as schools have enough furniture to conduct the vaccination, such as tables and chairs. Schools are places of large sizes, so they can host many people at a certain time.

When questioned about the effectiveness of censoring misinformation through online platforms, the delegate thought that the mitigation of fake news and misinformation regarding sensitive health information such as vaccinations was semi-effective. The delegate believed that it is a popular platform used by many people. However, people in the mountainous and rural areas where wifi and cellular networks are scarce will not have access to social media, so using social media would be useless in rural areas when spreading awareness.

The delegate does not mean that online censorship is an ineffective solution. Many populated cities have become modernised with the Internet and mobile data being quite available almost anywhere. This is a solution that can help many people.

Putting up posters is also another feasible solution considered by the delegate. These posters can include facts that debunk misinformation as well as how the public can tell the difference between fake news and real news. Holding talks with the public is another good solution, especially when inviting many influencers and celebrities to educate the public about vaccinations.

The delegate of China considers Syria, Japan and Nigeria as close aides as they believe that China's vision regarding child vaccination is similar to its aides’ visions. The delegate thus wishes to work with their close aides on resolving this issue to save lives.
